Europe’s premier digital innovation and business festival is once again upon us as the world’s largest fairground in Hannover welcomes CEBIT 2018. From June 11 to 15 we’ll get a glimpse at some of the projects pushing the boundaries of digitalization and AI, data analytics, smart homes, security, ECM, mobile solutions and sales software from the likes of Volkswagen, Varonis and Olympia.

This year the show will be broken down into four new elements, each with a different focus on digitization:

d!conomy – the first element that will deal with how international companies are tackling and transforming the digital economy with new technology. The focus will be around digital transformation and business management, with further guidance on security, data management, international communication and infrastructure.

d!tec – this will be the meeting place between founders and investors, where entrepreneurs share ideas and data scientists unveil new insights into the deployment of digital technology. As this will be stacked with rising stars it should be a good indicator into what the future holds or at least where the industry as a whole is headed.

d!talk – a series of keynotes, debates and conference talks discussing everything from political issues to social consequence of the implementation of digital technology. Our very own Dietmar Wilke will be speaking on Friday 15 from 1:35 p.m. – 1:55 p.m. on the Center Stage in Hall 17. His talk revolves around how to optimize your sales with a mobile app –  how a digital sales assistant increases productivity of your sales team in a measurable way.

d!campus – this is where the fun begins! An open-air space with live music, concert and DJs providing a space away from hustle and bustle of the conference to network, meet new people or simply let your hair down. It looks like there’ll be some local food trucks pulling in too.

All in all, it looks a great little conference for those field sales teams looking to make a jump over to digital. There will be a lot of brains to pick and technology stacks to browse through to give you a good starting point on digital transformation.

And of course, if you’d like to pop across and speak to Dietmar, feel free! He’d be more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding ForceManager and any transitioning over to a digital sales system.

Hope to see you there!
